School

Summer is now over, fall is here,
What happens next is actually quite clear.
Dust off your schoolbooks,uncover your pencils,
Open the box that has your rulers and stencils.
For some new concepts are quite a chore,
But for me learning a new concept is not a bore.
Sometimes it's so easy you can just skip right through it,
Sometimes it's so difficult that you feel like your in a pit.

My Yard Is Yellow

My yard is yellow, leaves cover the ground,
My yard is yellow, to their peace I'm bound.
My y
ard is yellow, the leaves are endlessly fun,
My yard is yellow, the leaves match the sun.
Sometimes they're brown and sometimes they're still green,
Others playing in he leaves is what I've seen.
Every time the wind blows the leaves drift downward,
Laughter while leaves are thrown that's what I've heard.
My yard is yellow, this time of the year is so grand,
My yard is yellow, each leaf is painted by God's hand.
My yard is yellow, leaves cover the ground,
My yard is yellow, to their peace I'm bound.

God's Blessings

Genesis 1:1-3
In the beginning God made the heavens and he earth. Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.
And God said , "Let there be light." and there was light.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
God made the world, He made the sea,
God made every thing for you and me.
When beloved Jade left us I felt pretty sad,
And now we have kitten and I'm pretty glad.
The kitten name is Jadeite, since he looks so much like Jade,
Jadeite is a blessing that God has made.
From Summer to Fall
Though others find it sad,
I find it rather glad.
It was fun I agree,
But I also guarantee
That after this warm summer,
I won't get any glummer.
It was fun I know, I know,
But I'm not sorry to see it go.
I love the starting of football season,
And to those who love summer, this is not treason.
Now is fall, next is winter,
All the wood we carry causes quite a splinter.
Lots of leaves on the ground,
All the noise is so beautiful, I don't make a sound
Here's Hazel
Isn't she just adorable!!
She is just a smilie angel.
She makes my heart soar-able.
To hold her when she was born we had to put on this hand-gel.
Any Prayer Requests?
  • Patti Snyder. Mimi ( as I call her) has been in a car accident with a friend. I am thankful she only got few broken ribs and that Deb (the friend) only got a few bruises. Next time you pray please give thought to Miss Patti Snyder, my Mimi.
  • Grandma Sylvia Womer. Grandma womer is in a nursing-home. She is 95 and can no longer with her son, my pap. We (my family) have been visiting her and she is pretty good besides the fact that she's sad.
  • "Pray for anyone who are in need of prayer."
Pray for anyone who is in need of prayer,
And for anyone who needs help (just a hair).
Pray for anyone who needs your joy,
And for anyone who may be really sick, Oh boy.
Pray for anyone who is really sad,
And help everyone to be really glad.
This is the end of my poem and this is what I say...
PRAY!
Storm Time
Dark cloud in the sky, low rumbles in the air,
Getting inside with no time to spare.
Wind in the trees, lightning that strikes,
There are many delays including some hikes.
Some think its frightening others think its fascinating,
But at least its not everlasting.
Sometimes its loud with a big BOOM!
Sometimes its quiet with a small BOOM!
Some kids think its scary so they hide under beds,
Some kids think its so cool with that thought in their heads.
When its finally over everything is so wet,
And not long after that the sun is to set.
Summertime
The sun on my face, the wind in my hair,
The feel in the summertime is right in the air.
the splash of the pool, the song of the birds,
And everyone is talking in such cheerful words.
Once the word is spread a pool party is to start,
And the kids are in the water playing all their part.
Summertime is a fun time were we all have fun,
And do be careful not to get sun burn when you're in the sun.
HAZEL MARLOWE PFLEEGOR
Our new baby girl was born on the 13th of May, just 6 days before Moms birthday. Hazel is just adorable! And since everybody says that my poems are so good I decided I'll write her one.
Hazel is the 6th of my family's household,
Is just nothing more then a couple days old.
Her size is so tiny, she is so small,
When she was born she was 19 inches tall.
Her hands are so precious, her feet are so cute,
And to my Mom everybody's been making a tribute.
Her nose is so squished, her eyes are so blue,
Her face is funny with feelings so true.
And when I'm holding her I don't want to let her go,
Well that is all I can say, except when I look at her she makes me glow.
OPEN YOUR EYES
Open your eyes to the world of excitement,
To the world of adventure,
To the world of enchantment.
Open your eyes to the world of wonder,
To the world of glory,
And into it we wander.
The birds are of paradise,the houses are of home,
Every little thing is better then Rome.
The animals are of Honer, the people are of love,
Every little baby coo's like a dove.
The plants are the greenest, the bugs are adorable,
And every little Donkey gets to be honerable.
All the men,s shifts have from nine to five,
Every little bug is harmless, even when it lives in a hive.
Open your eyes to the world of excitement,
The world of adventure,
The world of enchantment.
Open your eyes and you will see
what your imagination is to be.
DESTINY my sister
It turned out to be foggy morning, just like Destiny's feelings as she went to the hospital.
So I decided to write her a poem
Day in and day out, I have nothing but thought,
Thinking how it was before this even though we fought.
Day in and day out, how I wish you were there,
When we go to the neighbors oh the fun we could share.
Day in and day out, you look so distressed,
You even have a hard time getting all dressed.
Day in and day out,I  feel so sorry,
Even every hour of the day you don't look so hearty,
Day in and day out, this all I have to say,
And hopefully soon we both will look at things in a happier way.
Easter on our farm
On our farm, there were new babies,
Two baby goats and they were both ladies.
What great joy they brought on our farm,
They were held in every arm.
And alas the very next day
How much fun we had I can't even say!
We had an Easter hunt with our family on moms side,
Over a hundred eggs the parents would hide.
The day after was Easter Sunday,
And my cousins who slept over had a fun day.
The weekend after that we went to an Easter hunt on dads side,
And that is the story of our Easter on our farm I could not hide.
